Are you interested in leadership in a Deaf church? If so, then come join us as we explore the role of a pastor and support staff in a Deaf church. Whether it is the role of pastor, worship leader, media coordinator, or children's and youth ministry, you will gain the skills required of each.
See below for each week's topic and the curriculum covered.

Goal

Many Deaf churches in the United States and around the world are losing their shepherds. Our goal is to equip individuals and churches with the tools they need to reach the communities they reside. When you graduate from the school, we will have a commissioning send-off and hopefully connect you with a Deaf church in the United States.

How long is the school?

The school will be 6-8 weeks; however, this could change.

Housing?

This is a still a challenge for us and will depend on the number of students. We will communicate the accommodations with those interested.

Public speaking (Public signing)
Building community
Spiritual warfare

Becoming credentialed with the Assemblies of God

Cost?

We are trying to do this as cheaply as possible. Cost will range from $1,000 - $3,000; however, the details will be worked out the closer we get to the start of school.
Scholarships may be available depending on donations to the Deaf School of Ministry. Any donations will be split between all student applicants.

Want more training?

We have a connection with Youth With A Mission and would love to see students go through a Discipleship Training School and Discipleship Bible School. Our school is focused on church ministry, while YWAM Deaf World is focused more on missions.

YWAM Deaf World
